We are one of the main business groups in Bizkaia.
With a broad international projection, we are present in various sectors such as port logistics, transport, solid fuel marketing and real estate promotion and management.

Who we are
Toro and Betolaza Group
It was founded in Bilbao in 1955. From the beginning, its main characteristic was to be established as a family business, with the desire to perpetuate the business heritage to the following generations.
The first company, Toro y Betolaza S.A. was initially oriented as an importer and distributor of raw materials, for local consumption, and later for industrial consumption.
Subsequently, the stevedore and ship consignment business was born and facilities were expanded in various ports in Spain.
From the very beginning there was an international vocation to become global logistics operators, initially looking at the developed countries of Europe, and then at other continents.
During the seventies and eighties, Naviera Toro y Betolaza was established as a shipowner and managed to maintain a fleet of 8 ships, with international traffic.
During the 1990s and the first decade of the 21st century, the current business alliances and infrastructures were developed, allowing the business group to have a greater national and international presence, and a greater service capacity for an increasing number of sectors.
